Meet the Dasher: The Sporty NUS Student Who Loves Hiking

Considering coming to Singapore to further your education? We know how scary it can be to step out of your comfort zone and travel to a completely different country by yourself. But fear not.

Read on and meet Om, who came from India to study at the National University of Singapore, one of the very best colleges in Singapore and in the world. He shared with us how he’s taking to Singapore and what he enjoys doing here!

Hi Om! Where are you from and what brought you to Singapore?

O: I’m from India and am in Singapore for my education.

How do you find the food in Singapore? What cuisines do you like?

O: The food in Singapore is delicious and diverse. I like the culinary diversity and usually have Continental, Indian and Hainanese food.

Wow, your palate is diverse too! Which area are you living in now and what do you enjoy most about your stay with us?

O: I am currently staying in the western part of Singapore. It excites me to know the many activities to enjoy in Singapore.

Yup, Singapore may be small but we have tons of entertainment! What about your housemates? How is it co-living with them?

O: I’m an introverted person by nature. It’s been going well. We sometimes go to explore more places and cuisines around.

Seems like you really love Singapore’s food😁 How was your experience with the events Dash Living organised for tenants? Did you meet any nice people during those events or during your stay with us?

O: I like attending all of the community activities. So far, my experience living with Dash has been amazing. The staff is kind and fast to respond to my short queries or concerns.
