Strength & Flexibility Tips

Feel good and improve your posture with a 4 step yoga in bed routine you can easily stick to.

Shoulder Stand

1. Lay down with your knees bent and feet flat. Arms beside your body.

2. Lift your hips up and support your lower back with your palms. Find a steady position that’s comfortable.

3. Slowly find your balance as your extend both legs up.

4. Breathe for 20 seconds then lay back down.

Malasana Twists

1. Enter a low squat position with heels down. Elbows pushing the inside of your knees out with palms to your center.

2. Right hand grabs the left ankle. Work towards elbow down. Other hand extend up.

3. Left hand grabs the right ankle. Work towards elbow down. Other hand extend up.

Lizard Twist & Stretch

1. Come to a Low-Lunge with both hands on the inside of your front leg & expand your chest.

2. Lift and extent the inside arm up to twist.

3. Bend the back knee and grab the outside of the foot. Keep your hips low.

4. Aim for 20-30s stretch.

5. Switch sides.

Cat-Cow

1. Come to a tabletop position – hands underneath the shoulders, knees underneath the hips, and spine neutral.

2. Arch your spine and expand your chest as your inhale.

3. Hunch and round your spine as you exhale.

4. Repeat 2-3 times.

To continue on this pursuit of holistic health and longevity, Tee finds yoga asana, calisthenics, breathwork, and meditation to be his main practices. They keep him active, nimble and strong in body while challenging him every single day to give his mind and soul what they need. Tee leverages his knowledge and experience from working in the medical field in California and STEM Education in Massachusetts to improve fitness and health intelligently and safely.
