About The Fly Place
In their early days, The Fly Place launched the popular mala-flavoured maocai and grilled fish in Hong Kong. The soup bases sold are hand-cooked using traditional recipes to ensure that each bowl of soup base retains its unique flavour. The special ingredients in the stores are all customised by the factory to ensure first-class quality. Since The Fly Place’s opening, they have sold an average of more than 220,000 soup bases every year, making them one of the most popular restaurants in Hong Kong.
The Fly Place is a brand that focuses on young consumers. They have improved the original mala soup base recipe and reduced the amount of oil and salt used, making the soup base healthier. They have also introduced new soup bases – such as the nourishing mushroom soup base, tomato soup base and clear soup base – to cater to modern food requirements.
